It is helpful to meet for an exploratory interview, lasting about ninety minutes, after you have made initial contact. In the interview we can consider your reasons for seeking therapy and get some sense of your past and present life. From this we should be able to decide if the therapy I offer is likely to benefit you. You will have opportunities to ask questions about psychotherapy and this may help you to decide whether or not you feel you wish to begin.
Therapy takes place in fifty minute sessions which begin on the hour. Once weekly Open Ended work usually comprises forty-five sessions per year to allow for breaks. For DIT the sixteen sessions should be in consecutive weeks.
Fees are payable monthly in arrears. Patients will be charged for missed sessions at the full rate. Fees for all sessions are £25-£65 depending on annual household income.
There is a fee of £40 for the initial interview.
